Counsellors currently do not work under Medicare Mental Health Care Plans, so a referral is not needed to access an appointment. You control how many sessions you need, there is no timeline. Your sessions are private and notes are not shared with third parties, except in exceptional circumstances. If I do need to share, this is always with your knowledge and discussed, all of which is explained in the first session.

Current fees are comparable to the out-of-pocket expenses you would expect to pay if seeing a therapist under Medicare plans.
